Learn to Run

This group is on hold during the pandemic. Our Kinesiologists are still available by phone or video to help you with our exercise needs.  Call us today!
The Family Health Team's Exercise Specialist, Sandy Turner, runs a spring Learn to Run Group in Palmerston. 

This is a 10 week program where participants meet once a week for a gradual, progressive walk-run routine, with 2-3 nights of additional "home-work."

Each week will also bring new education topics that include:
  • stretching basics
  • breathing techniques
  • food and hydration
  • staying in shape all year

What will you get out of the running group? At the end of this 10 week program you will be able to run continuously for 30 minutes.
