Learn to Run
The Family Health Team's Exercise Specialist, Sandy Turner, runs a spring Learn to Run Group in Palmerston.
This is a 10 week program where participants meet once a week for a gradual, progressive walk-run routine, with 2-3 nights of additional "home-work."

What will you get out of the running group? At the end of this 10 week program you will be able to run continuously for 30 minutes, and this group will be participating in a local 5km run - the Emergency 91Run in Palmerston.
