Chronic Pain Self Management
Offered virtually.
This is a 6-week group for people dealing with chronic pain. Participants attend once a week for a 2.5-hour education class. Some topics include fitness/exercise, pacing, medications, emotions, fatigue/sleep and communication. This program is geared at teaching new ways to deal with chronic pain and requires participants to take an active role in learning and practicing these tools. The support from the group members is an added benefit to the program. A family member is welcome to attend as well.
